HP has decrease the cost of its almost 1 month old HP TouchPad for the 3rd time in a week; it is now offered at bidding retailer Woot.com, that not all in the tech society considers is a big step.
“I love Woot. Best shopping site ever. But Woot (generally) is where gadgets go to die,” John Biggs of TechCrunch replied.
The HP TouchPad is offered at Woot.com for a price of $379.99, including a $5 destination charge.
The 16 GB variant of the HP TouchPad, powered by the firm’s WebOS operating system was first priced at $499. The device offers with a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon dual-core APQ8060 processor, a 1.3 MP camera, 9.7″ feature with a resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels (TFT active matrix).
The HP TouchPad, that is HP’s response to the Apple iPad 2, is also fitted with dual-band 802.11b/g/n with WPA and Bluetooth 2.1 EDR wireless connectivity.
